2024. A collaborative performance with billy von raven. Felt, wool, rope, keyboard, sound.
A sheet of felt hangs from the ceiling. Shapes have been cut from the felt, creating a visual score. I stand behind the felt, hidden from the audience. I begin to “read” the score – pushing through fingers, arms, legs, tongue – emerging, receding, and weaving through it. von raven plays the keyboard, responding to my actions – I am his score. I begin weaving objects through the shapes. We swap – billy becomes my score, and I respond to what he plays. Order collapses – there is no score anymore. I become fully entangled in the felt score, and the performance ends.
